The Editorial Board of the journal is the body for receiving submitted works. It will inform the correspondence authorities of each proposal of this reception.
This council will make a first assessment of the article. If this is positive, it will be sent for review. If it is negative, it will be justified to the corresponding authorities. This assessment will be based on the assessment of the adaptation of the rules of the journal, its formal and content aspects or its inadequacy to the thematic area of the journal. This first assessment will be carried out in less than 30 working days.
Review of submitted work will be done by a double-blind peer review system. This review will be carried out by experts in the field of the submitted work. As a result of this review, the article proposal can be accepted without changes, with minor or major changes, or rejected.
However, the Editorial Board is in charge, based on the previous review, of accepting or rejecting the submitted work, or if that's the case, asking for a third review.
The Editorial Board will send the article for review to external persons with whom there is no conflict of interest with the authors of the manuscript. A conflict of interest is defined as having up to a second degree of kinship, having directed the doctoral thesis or having participated as the main researcher in a research project in which some of the authors were part of it as researcher
The members of the editorial committee will not participate in the review of articles, except in very exceptional and duly justified cases. In any case, the staff of the editorial board or the scientific board will not participate in the evaluation and editorial process of your submissions.
Once the review has been carried out and the decision taken by the Editorial Board, its result will be communicated to the authors of the article. From the start of the first review process to the communication to the authors of the work, the time taken cannot exceed 45 working days.
If changes have to be made in the article proposal, the authors will have 15 working days to make them. After this time, if the works have not been forwarded, it will be considered that the authors refuse to continue the publication process.
Once the article has been definitively accepted, the time elapsed between this moment and its publication will not exceed 45 working days.
Once the article is published, the date of receipt of the article and its acceptance will be recorded.
