The third issue concentrates on rural affairs in the 3rd century and attempts to analyze the period of approximately one hundred years from the reign of Emperor Septimius Severus, (which, in some territories, marked a time of splendour in the rural world) to the great reforms and the new situation established by Diocletian and his co-rulers.
